Last summer, church leaders at our denomination’s annual national gathering passed a statement confessing and repenting of historical racial sins, and urging its congregations to strive toward racial reconciliation for the advancement of the gospel, the love of Christ, and the glory of God.
Join your Redeemer family as we heed this call and come together to learn, ask questions and spend time in prayer. Led by Tara VanderWoude and Mark Abdon, we’ll discuss past and present racial issues within our country and our church, and explore God’s heart for racial reconciliation. Please plan to attend from 4-5:30pm on Sunday 4/23 (discussion on the past, present, and God’s heart), 4/30 (panel discussion) and 5/7 (guest speaker) in the Underground. Childcare will be provided.
