Dear Redeemer family -
For the last two years I've had the awesome privilege of serving as our Redeemer Kids children's ministry coordinator. Since our fourth baby was born this past winter, however, I've felt a pull to focus my time and energy at home. I have decided to transition out of my role at Redeemer to do just that. It was a decision that came after many months of prayer. Working with Redeemer Kids has been the most rewarding experience of my professional life, as I cannot imagine a higher calling than teaching and training the next generation of Christians.
To my Redeemer Kids colleagues, nursery workers, children's CT&T teachers, assistants and buddies, and Children's Worship storytellers and greeters: thank you! It has been one of the greatest joys of my life to serve alongside of you. I will still be your biggest cheerleader, and I look forward to joining you again as a committed Redeemer Kids volunteer.
My boss, Todd Dawkins, Pastor of Next Generation Ministries, will be posting my job soon. And my dear colleague, Hidi Gardner, will continue to serve as elementary coordinator. Thank you for the opportunity to serve our church in this way. I'm excited to see what God has next for Redeemer Kids!
