Welcome our Ministry Intern: Marcus Jackman

Marcus with his wife, Susan, and their three kids, Alison, Josephine, and Elijah

Redeemer engages in a number of training and coaching activities in the interest of spreading the Gospel through church plants and other missions. In the past we have engaged in programs like Sonship, and Timothy Apprenticeship. We support missionaries John and Elizabeth Evans who train Kenyans to become pastors.

Part of this "teaching hospital" mission involves having interns who regularly serve alongside our ministry staff. As a part of this vision we want to introduce you to Marcus Jackman. He is in the middle of a month long internship with Nathan Partain, learning what it means to prepare, practice and lead worship. He is in the process of being ordained and is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Muncie, IN. He has been a pastoral apprentice serving that community for the last three years. As a part of his capstone project, he is doing a series of mini internships in different churches around our Presbytery so that he might understand all the parts of ministry as he moves toward being an ordained pastor. Please welcome him, his wife Susan, and their kids if you see them and pray for them as they seek where the Lord is calling them to serve in the coming years.
