On Sunday, April 10, the Pastoral Search Committee gave us an update on their progress in the search for Redeemer's new lead pastor. In case you missed it, here's what's going on: The group has met five times since March 1st. They are working with the session and with Terry Gyger to work out how to approach the search. As they figure out the administrative side of things, they are also putting together an informational packet to be used to reach out to prospective candidates to give candidates insight into who Redeemer is. The goal is to give the candidates a sense of Redeemer's culture and what makes us tick by giving insight on who we are as a church body and what our city and neighborhoods are like. The committee will present this to the session in the coming weeks for a final review before making it public.
Please continue to be in prayer for the committee as they take on this large task. If you would like to be a part of coordinating corporate prayer for the committee, please contact Renata Jackson [firstname.lastname@example.org].
