Artist Talk this Sunday in Gallery No. 2

Currently hanging in Gallery No. 2 is a show that represents the unnamedpast few years of the artwork that was created for our worship services.  Called Epiclesis, the show includes the work of artists in our congregation who work together, pray and plan how to visually represent the different seasons of our community life. We are hosting an artist talk immediately following second service this coming Sunday, May 17th in Gallery No. 2 (located off the courtyard) where some of the participating artists will talk about the different pieces of art and their processes as well as answer questions.  Art will be for sale in Gallery No. 2 and many of the artists are giving a portion of their proceeds to the Redeemer Artist Care fund.  If you miss the artist talk but would like to buy a piece another day, you can contact Andrew@harrisoncenter.org or stop by the City Gallery to purchase.

Supporting art, artists, and culture in Indianapolis is a core part of our calling as a church and we encourage you to engage with the cultural life of our city by understanding the arts.

If you have artistic talents please talk to or email Kyle Ragsdale.  He would love to have you get involved.  This includes everything from drawing and painting to sewing and sculpting, metalwork and glass blowing, etc.  You can email Kyle at Kyle@Redeemindy.org.
