Redeemer's Hiring a Kitchen Manager
As we celebrate our current kitchen manager moving on to great new things in her life, we are looking to fill the part time position with someone who is both personable and gracious, able to lead teams and develop leaders of teams, detail oriented and a strong communicator. A good kitchen manager is flexible and organized, and might even be a gifted or budding chef, but please, don't let that bread you burned last week keep you from applying. Most importantly, Redeemer looks for each of their employees to be actively seeking to grow in their understanding of the gospel.
Redeemer's kitchen manager assists the Hospitality Coordinator/Worship and Culture Assistant in providing hospitality through food by overseeing the kitchen on Sunday mornings (donuts, coffee, etc), preparing communion, and bi-monthly hospitality luncheons. They will also be in charge of food for special events such as Easter, Christmas, Seder, and other special services. The kitchen manager orders and keeps up the kitchen stock including keeping the kitchen and its inventory clean and in good condition. It's important for our kitchen manager to be friendly and have good interpersonal skills because he/she will be in charge of recruiting and training the food team volunteers as well!
