Below is a letter than Todd Dawkins wrote to the church body explaining Donna's transition into her net life adventure! We will miss both Donna and her husband, Don.

Hello Redeemer,

I am writing to communicate some bittersweet news that Donna Harris will be stepping down from her role as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at the end of July. Recently, Donna and her husband Don have discerned the Lord’s leading to move back to Charlotte, NC to be close to their children, grandchildren, and extended family. In response to this call, they have decided to put their house on the market with hopes that it would sell in a timely manner. In light of this, we all feel that it is best to have Donna transition out of her role while staying involved with Redeemer Kids as a consultant and volunteer until the sale of their house, giving her the freedom to move at that time. Please understand how difficult it is for me to share this news with you, as Donna has done and is doing excellent work in her leadership of Redeemer Kids. I praise God for her gifts and unreserved willingness to share them with the church in pursuit of ministering to the next generation. Please join me in praying for Don and Donna during this time of transition and the sale of their home, as well as the Lord’s guidance in discovering who is to be the new Children’s Ministry Coordinator.

Grace to you,

Todd Dawkins
