Redeemer Kids to Lead Church in Advent Song

Our children, ages 3 through 5th grade, will lead the congregation in song during our Sunday morning services during Advent. Starting the first Sunday of Advent, Nov. 29, and continuing through Sunday, Dec. 20, children are invited to come on stage and sing a verse of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” to begin the worship service. They’ll sing the first verse the first week (Nov. 29), the second verse the second week (Dec. 6), the third verse the third week (Dec. 13) and the fourth verse the fourth week (Dec. 20)Children can meet at the front of the sanctuary before each service. There will be a brief welcome, and then the children will sing a verse of the song during the Advent procession. The congregation will join them for the chorus, and the children will stay on stage while the Advent reading is read.

White Paper WeddingsThe preschoolers (ages 3-5) are practicing the song each week during CT&T, but for those not attending CT&T or for elementary-aged children that may want to participate, we encourage you to practice at home (if your child can read, they are welcome to take the bulletin up on stage with them).
