Fall 2016 CT+T Classes

White Paper WeddingsCT&T (Christian Teaching and Training) Sunday classes meet weekly between Sunday services, from 10:00-10:50 a.m. They are a place for you to go deeper into God’s word in community, guided by leaders who want to help bring God’s truth to bear on every corner of your life. Our classes will not only make you think, but impact your heart and life as well. We offer children, youth, young adult, and adult classes which are all listed below. Classes begin on September 11. 

ADULT CLASSES Gospel DNA (Fall only) – Led by Doug &  Nancy Jesch, Located in Studio 147. Christians often talk about the gospel, but many struggle to truly understand and apply it to their lives. This is a great first class for those new to Redeemer.

Gospel Disciplines (Fall & Spring) – Led by Aaron Gardner, Located in Room 040 (The Speck Gallery - previously Gallery 2). For those who seek to mature in Christ-likeness, this class will look at the processes of putting our sin to death and growing in spiritual disciplines.

Epistles: 1 John, 1 & 2 Peter (Fall & Spring) – Led by Ryan and Kate Brumbaugh, Located in the Underground Join in a study of these beloved letters, written to the early church to establish and encourage them in their faith through adversity.

Isaiah (Fall & Spring) – Led by Jamie MacGregor, located in Hank and Dolly's Gallery This prophetic book can be intimidating, but this class will guide you through its themes and highlight the prophecies concerning the Suffering Servant.

Community Group Leader Training – Led by Amanda Edgell, Located in Room 146 Life at Redeemer largely centers around Community Groups. We are pleased that we have so many people in groups, but that also means we need more leaders! Contact amanda@redeemindy.org with if you are interested in the Community Group Leader Training Class.

Creative Class (Fall & Spring) - Led by Kyle Ragsdale, Located in his studio (Room 280) This class is a place for creative souls to gather together for prayer, encouragement, and exploration of how the gospel impacts an artist’s life.

Young Urban Leader Class (Fall & Spring) – led by Sara Trombley, Located in Room 141 This class focuses on developing leaders in their spiritual growth and ministry potential and will meet the second and fourth Sundays of every month beginning on September 25.

YOUTH CLASSES High School meets in the youth room Middle School meets in the library

ELEMENTARY CLASSES K-3rd elementary students will begin a new four-year journey through the Bible using The Gospel Project curriculum. An app is available for parents who’d like to reinforce the weekly lesson at home. We’re starting with volume 1 (Labeled "Fall 2015" in the app store).

All K-3rd kids start in room 203 and will split into small groups mid-hour. K-1st will be picked up from 205 2nd-3rd will be picked up from 203

4th-5th elementary students have spent the last four years on an extended journey through the Bible. This year, they’ll be summarizing the big picture using Echo the Story curriculum as a springboard. 4th-5th meets in room 207. 

PRESCHOOL CLASSES 3-year-olds meet in room 160A (Children’s Worship room) 4/5-year-olds will meet in room 160B (adjacent to the Children’s Worship room).
