GMT Grant Program Spotlight

Redeemer’s Global Missions Team (GMT) is committed to helping Redeemer members pursue short-term mission trips. One of the ways we do this is through offering congregational grants. Amounts vary depending on if the trip is connected to a GMT partner. One goal of the grant program is to help people discern whether or not God is calling them to serve in a global missions context. Redeemer members Austin and Katy White received a number of grants over the past few years, and are now preparing to move to Berlin, Germany, and work with Cru. Who Are Austin and Katy White?

“We are Austin and Katy White. We have been at Redeemer since 2013 and members since 2015. From various short-term missions trips in the US and abroad as students at Purdue University, to interning with Cru, a university student ministry, for two years in Berlin, Germany, missions has become a part of our story. Following the internship, we returned to Indianapolis to get married and pursue our careers. During this time in Indianapolis and at Redeemer, God began revealing His call for us to return to Berlin and work with Cru full-time reaching college students. Thank you for being a part of our journey.”
