Thought for Food Workshop
The gospel of Jesus Christ speaks to everything in our lives, including food. There is more to food than eating. For many of us food has become our friend, comforter, companion, something that is always there when we need it. Others of us have developed unhealthy obsessions over our food intake. In our 3-part "Thought for Food Workshop," we will talk about how our relationship with food may have been broken, and practical skills to help mend it.
Our time will be interactive and practical. You will have a healthier body as your relationship with food improves. If your love of food contributes to a weight problem or has become your way to cope, come learn how to give food its proper place in your life.
Aaron Gardner, a licensed counselor, has spent much of the last 8 years talking to hundreds of people about the psychology of eating and how to use practical tools and changes in thought patterns to become healthier in mind, body, and spirit.
Thought for Food will take place on June 16, June 30, and July 14 6:30-8:30 in Redeemer's Youth Room on the second floor (click here if you're not sure where that is). One $75 payment will cover all three nights in the series. You can sign up and provide payment here. Please email Jeff Nottingham with questions.
