Redeemer + The Harrison Center
From our very beginnings, Redeemer and the Harrison Center were born out of our mission to love the city and her neighborhoods through cultural renewal and community engagement.
The Harrison Center’s mission is to seek to be a catalyst for renewal in the city of Indianapolis by fostering awareness, appreciation, and community for arts and culture. Their events like The Independent Music and Arts Festival, monthly First Fridays, PreEnactIndy, and Art Dish are removing barriers between our neighbors and the arts, and working to highlight existing beauty and bring about cultural renewal in the city.
If you call Redeemer your spiritual community, we want you to know that you are connected to the heritage and work of the Harrison Center. We encourage you to get to know and be curious about the ways they are helping us love our neighbors. We want you to consider how you may be called to support this organization and its artists through: volunteering, purchasing art, getting to know our artists, sponsoring a studio, or regular financial donations.
We are grateful for what God has done through the Harrison Center and look forward to how he will use this great work of common grace in the future. May his kingdom come.
