Expression Engine Follow-Up

Last week, Expression Engine, a music company from Chattanooga, TN, rolled into town and led us in connecting to gospel rhythms by way of rousing bucket band sessions, pitch-perfect choir practice, and fresh songwriting collaboration. In all, 73 kids from Redeemer, various other churches, and our neighborhood, along with 11 adult and 26 student volunteers, tapped, hummed, and sang their way throughout the week in preparation for the Harrison Center’s First Friday FoodCon concert in the sanctuary. While there, both parents and FoodCon attendees pulled up a seat at the table to taste, see, and hear “soul food” at its best.  Just check out this original chorus written by our tenor team:

I am forgiven (Fried chicken)

You will forgive me when I do you wrong (bacon!)

I am forgiven (Fried chicken)

You will forgive me when I do you wrong (bacon!)

Thanks so much, Redeemer, for your support of RedeemerKids ministry in all of its many different melodies!
