Father, we want to put boundaries on when and how we worship you, but you made us and redeemed us that we would be all about you all of the time. You long for us to worship you, whether we eat or drink or whatever we do, to do all to your glory. Empower us by your Spirit to raise up every motivation, thought, and action to you in worship. Forgive us for compartmentalizing and not living this way.

Father, you call us to live as one body, experiencing unity and grace in our relationships. But every day we experience the opposite - the strife and the discord that comes as we relate to one another. We do not know how to be good neighbors, friends, citizens, or family because we selfishly value relationships based on their benefit to us.

Father, as your children, we give you thanks for the abundance of your goodness which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you have worked for those who take refuge in you in plain sight for all the world to see. You have made your love for us clear by sending your Son into the world so that we might live through him.

God of heaven, your gracious hand has been upon us. You have granted us favor in the city of Indianapolis. But in our poverty of spiritual intimacy, we doubt your covenant of love for us and have forgotten the many times that you have answered our prayers and longings with a resounding “Yes.” Because we have not looked back to see your abundant provisions for us, we have come to expect you to be a harsh master.
