Alyssa serves Redeemer on the facilities team, where every day looks different. While part of her time is spent cleaning the building to support its longevity, the rest is spent painting classrooms, planting flowers, or deep-cleaning carpets to keep our building in top shape. She believes that the untraditional ministy work of the facilities team plays a vital role in ensuring that all ministries, organizations, and events are able to serve the community well.

Alyssa is originally from New Albany, IN, and she’s called Indy home since 2017 when she started her undergrad. She lives on the southside of the city with her two amazing roommates and her rambunctious pup, Hank. Even though her family lives close by, Alyssa loves living in the city with neighbors and friends she can connect with in such a small proximity. She also loves supporting local businesses in her neighborhood, as they reshape her community. Some of her favorite spots are Skosh, Cafe Babette, and Parkside Public House.
