This is how we pursue Meaningful Relationships in Community

Wouldn’t it be great if we went to church and felt known by the people around us? We want to help with that by getting everyone plugged into our Sunday school classes, community groups, bible studies groups, and so much more.

CHILDREN'S ministry during service

Children of all ages are always welcome in the worship service. We also provide Nursery and Children’s Worship ministries during the service for those families who wish to utilize them.

nursery (ages 0-3)

Our staff and volunteers work hard to provide a safe nursery experience during the worship service for children ages newborn to three years old.

children’s worship (aged 4-Kindergarten)

Children's Worship, for kids aged four or in kindergarten, is where children can begin to learn how to worship as a church family. Please check in your child before the service either in the back of the sanctuary or at the nursery desk. They will be dismissed right before the sermon, and we will bring them back into the sanctuary during communion. Parents must have their security tag when picking up their children in the sanctuary.

worship guides

Each week our Redeemer Kids staff create a children’s worship guide that helps them engage with the sermon.

sunday school | preschool — 5th grade

Redeemer Kids’ mission is to partner with parents to help kids develop a lifetime relationship with Jesus. One of the places we invest in this mission the most is during the Sunday School hour each school year.

At Sunday School, we’re committed to creating safe, loving, developmentally appropriate learning environments for children of all ages. We are committed to helping children deepen their relationships with each other, deepen their relationships with classroom volunteers, and deepen their relationships with God.

MIDDLE + HIGH SCHOOL (6–12 GRADE)

Redeemer's youth ministry is focused on connecting high school and middle school students to Jesus. We normally meet on Sunday mornings for classes and Sunday evenings for large and small group activities. Please contact Mary Paxton Lind or Nicholas McDonald for more information about Youth Ministry at Redeemer.

Community Groups

IMG_6265.jpg

Our community group ministry is a driving force here in that it is more than a bible study taking place for an hour each week. Our community groups are centered on engaging in intentional Christian community where we live and how we seek to be a Kingdom presence there. In connecting people to Jesus within community groups, we believe the people of Redeemer will grow more and more in the gospel and their identities as sons and daughters of the King. We trust this Spirit-changing work will ignite a movement of the gospel that changes Indianapolis spiritually, socially, and culturally.

Our Redeemer community groups are wrapping up for the year in May and June, so we are pausing community group connections for now. If you'd like to join a community group in the fall, please don't hesitate to get in touch Sam Haist. Early work on fall community groups will begin during the summer, so it's still an excellent time to get connected.

Women

IMG_6040.jpg

Redeemer Women exists to connect women to Jesus and to each other. The main way we hope to accomplish this is through semester-long Women’s Bible Studies, and one-off events like book discussions (OneRead) and small dinners (Meet & Eat) throughout the year. We look forward to connecting with you!

Wednesday AM Childcare Workers

Redeemer is hiring Wednesday morning childcare workers and we need your help!

Are you someone with a flexible schedule, who is dependable and nurturing, and has experience with babies and/or young children? We have the opportunity to support the moms of Redeemer and beyond by giving them mid-week respite and refreshment by providing a nurturing childcare environment during Women’s Bible Study and/ or MomCo meet-ups. We are currently building our team and have many openings available for adults and teens, 16 years of age and older.

The hours of needed availability are Wednesday morning(s), 9-noon and the pay is competitive. If you or someone you know could be a good team member, please contact Amber Leinhos.
