Music

We were created to worship the living God, to enjoy him and find our happiness in him.

Our Sunday morning worship is a "thin place" between heaven and earth where we meet with God. Its purpose is to pull our affections away from artificial objects of worship - money, careers, relationships, approval, power, and control, among other things - and set our hearts on God. 

Our community's music is an eclectic mix of hymns and modern worship songs as well as original hymns written for our specific congregation. Along with the seasonal liturgical art and the freshly written prayers we say together each week, it contributes to the way that we worship: informed by our tradition yet in the moment with Jesus, the living King.
