Kyle Ragsdale

Liturgical Arts Coordinator

Kyle has played an integral role at the church since its formation in 1998. As the Liturgical Arts Coordinator, his job is to help the church worship through the many emotions we encounter through the Liturgical calendar. In other words, he brings art before our church body so we can better understand how we still relate to our Savior and King. Kyle utilizes art from artists within our congregation and the Harrison Center to create a bridge between the church and the community.

Artist Kyle Ragsdale grew up in Texas and New Mexico, witnessing a mix of vibrant cultures and vast, wild spaces from a young age. Since earning degrees at Baylor University (BFA) and Southern Methodist University (MFA), Kyle has been painting full-time, working periodically as a decorative painter and stage set designer, and creating fine art. He has served as curator for exhibits in Texas and Indiana and is currently the Christel DeHaan Curator at the Harrison Center in Indianapolis.

When Kyle is not painting or mentoring new artists, you can find him with his wife, Cindy. Together, they enjoy traveling, gardening, and hosting guests in their home.
