Sophie loves kids and enjoys teaching them about God to form deeper, personal relationships with Him. Prior to this role, she taught fourth grade at The Oaks and is eager to continue her work with children as Director of Redeemer Kids. She attended the University of Missouri, where she studied elementary education. Sophie hopes to continue cultivating an environment where children feel safe and curious in their learning. She looks forward to fostering relationships with the families she encounters and walking alongside them for his glory. 

Sophie and her husband, Luke, moved to Indianapolis from Kansas City, MO in the summer of 2024. They live in the near eastside and enjoy being outdoors, eating, and spending time with friends. Sophie loves to bake (she has some sourdough starter if you want some), read, and sew! She is grateful for the warmth and friendliness of the community at Redeemer.
