Summer SZN @ Frank & Judy O’Bannon Park
While we take a break from Sunday School and other formation environments over the summer, we’d love for you to join us at the following local parks on Wednesdays this summer.
At least one Redeemer staff member will be there with a special snack. We think this is a great way to meet other friends, parents, and kids. Inviting non-Redeemer neighbors and friends to attend with you is also great.
An adult, a teenage sibling, or a babysitter should accompany all children.
If you have any questions about the park days, please contact Emily.

Church-wide Picnic
Celebrate a great week of Kids Club with us at an all church picnic! We'll be at Frank and Judy O’Bannon Park on Sunday, June 8, from 12:30-2 pm. We'll provide drinks and the main dish, but ask that everyone's last name A-M bring a side and everyone last name N-Z bring a dessert to share if you are able.
Kids Club shirts are encouraged attire if you have them.
If you'd like to volunteer to help with the Sunday afternoon event, please e-mail Erin.
*The entire church family is invited whether you attended Kids Club or not.

Kids Club
Join us for Kids Club 2025 as we traverse the barren desert, trek through the arctic tundra, explore the jungle, and go on an underwater adventure in search of our great reward. Together, we’ll explore God’s faithfulness by looking at the story of Abraham, and we’ll learn that God always keeps his promises, and they come true through Jesus, our great reward.
During our week together, children will learn how God uses Abraham and his descendants to carry out his plan of redemption. Children will study God’s covenant promise to Abraham (Promised Land, to become a great nation, and that through him all peoples of the earth will be blessed) and explore how each of these promises are fulfilled in Jesus and are given to those who trust him as their Savior.
Kids Club is Redeemer's camp-like version of Vacation Bible School. Throughout the evening Monday through Thursday, preschool and elementary children will rotate through stations of crafts, games, a Bible Story, dinner, and large group with their leaders and same-aged peers. We'll end the week with a special Sunday afternoon lunch and celebration at a local park for everyone (parents, volunteers, and church family included) to enjoy.
If you still want to sign up a child or volunteer, please email Emily Pilkington.

Community Easter Egg Hunt with Redeemer Kids
Redeemer Kids is hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt for our friends and neighbors at MLK Park on Saturday, April 19, from 10-11:30 am. Bring a bag or basket and meet us at the MLK Park pavilion. We'll have coffee and donuts, split into age groups, search for eggs, and have time to play on the playground with friends afterward.
Due to weather conditions, we are delaying our Easter Egg Hunt at MLK Park until 3:00-4:30 p.m. when there will hopefully be a window of dryer weather.
If you'd like to help hide eggs, we will meet at the Pavillion at 2 p.m. You can e-mail Emily if you'd like to volunteer to do so.

Discovering Redeemer for Kids & Students
Redeemer Kids and Redeemer Students are partnering together to offer a class for 4th-8th graders* interested in exploring the next step in their faith. On Sunday, March 2, we'll meet from 12:30-3 pm to take a closer look at the gospel, the sacraments, the church, and what it means to be a member at Redeemer. Interviews will be scheduled for those interested in taking communion after the class. Lunch and snacks are provided.
All participants must attend the class with at least one parent or guardian.
*If you have a child/student outside of this age range who is interested in this process, please contact Emily. We will likely recommend that older students attend Discovering Redeemer.
