Renata Jackson
Renata Jackson grew up in the Amish country of Berne, IN, but she has called Indianapolis home for most of her life. Renata and her husband, Blake, are empty nesters who share their home with three dogs. The Jacksons have been at Redeemer for 22 years. They initially came through the persistent invitation of a friend. Some of Renata’s favorite things about Redeemer are our focus on the transforming safety of the gospel and the rich corporate worship each Sunday.
Renata came to faith through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) at Miami University. Throughout her entire faith journey, from her conversion through today, God has used a variety of women to help form Renata’s faith. Having the opportunity to do the same thing for people at Redeemer is one of the things that draws Renata to the role on the Women’s Shepherding Team.
In her free time, you can find Renata walking the Canal Tow Path, rooting on Butler basketball, and hanging out with friends and family. She is always up for a good cup of coffee (preferably dark roast) or a hike through one of Indiana’s state parks.
